I really like Shel Silverstein. He thinks up the wackiest, craziest things to say, but still in a way, makes sense!! (although I can't say its better than harry potter) I can to this site because I needed to write a report on Shel..don't really know why I'm posting this, I guess just to let you all know, even the non-readers, Shel is a great poet to start with!!!!!

falling up is a great poem and all the other poems by Shel Silverstein are great too.I also love his drawings.

I love shel silverstein! my grade one teacher started to read it to us, and ever since i've collected the books 'where the sidewalk ends', 'falling up', 'and a light in the attic'

I think Falling Up was a good book. All of the stories are funny. Some poems are just funny and some also teach you something. Like Plugging In tells you to not use so much electricity.

I like the book Falling Up. All of the poems are funny. Some of the poems teach you something and some are just funny. But out of all the poems, my favorite was My Robot.

I am a new user. I liked all the poems in Falling Up. If yo liked this book, you should read Where The Sidewalk Ends by the same autho. I also recommend The Arkadians by Lloyd Alexander for those who like the supernatural ad fantastic.

This book is very interesting. It has funny poems and wonderful pictures. I say that all readers of any age should read and they would have good opinions about the topics.

I liked alot of Shel Silversteins poems in Falling Up.He uses lots of humor and exaggeration.

Some of my favorite poems are: Noise Day--what kind of noise would you make? Danny O'Dare--Can you dance all those dances? The Voice--Do you listen to your inner voice? Woulda-Coulda-Shoulda--How many times do you say that and wish you just DID IT? Hand Holding--Did you figure out why there were no hands to hold? Sorry I Spilled It--Have you ever had breakfast in bed? The Folks Inside--Ask your mom or dad about the boy or girl inside of them. Body Language--Listen to your body!!! Those are my faviorites--what are yours?
